Three Arab residents of Yerushalayim on Tuesday were indicted for attempted murder in connection to an attack against an American national in the capital about six weeks ago.

Ahmad Uhda (28), Fatchi Zeitoun (18) and Raviah Ghath (21) are being tried together and a fourth suspect who has turned state witness is being charged and tried separately.

The victim, an American student, was attacked by the group, trying to slit open this throat. He fought them off and they managed to cut his cheek. He fled, walking over a half hour to summon assistance at Dung Gate to the Old City.
