Slonimer Chassidim in Emanuel on Tuesday held a dinner, a hakoras hatov event to say thank you to Deputy Minister Meir Porush for his tenacious efforts throughout the Emanuel affair. After completing a mesechta, there were words of praise and thanks, for his non-yielding fight on behalf of chareidi chinuch, standing firm against Israel�s secular Supreme Court.

Yitzchak Weinberg had special words of praise for Porush�s HaMevaser newspaper, and the deputy minister was presented with a scroll to express the sentiment of the Slonim community.
