An El Al flight with Paris as its destination was forced to make an emergency landing in Sofia, Bulgaria on Tuesday afternoon, after the pilot’s detected a malfunction in one of the planes engines.

The passengers were put up at nearby hotels, and will be flown to their destination in a replacement plane later Tuesday.
