REPORT: Israel is bracing for the possibility that Hamas may transfer the bodies of several slain hostages later tonight.

At this stage, it remains unclear whether the handover will actually take place, as Hamas has not officially confirmed its intentions.

The remains of 11 hostages are still being held inside Gaza.
