  1. unbeknownst to most people, the term decimated has a very specific meaning, which does NOT mean wiped out. the romans would punish a legion severely, by killing every tenth soldier, but the legion would remain active. if president trump means to say the iran military has been degraded or destroyed, thats what he should say. it isnt necessary to massacre the english language in the process.
