
The IDF at times it is not intercepting some Iranian cluster munitions in order to conserve interceptor missiles according to a report in the Times of Israel.
Officials say the submunitions are unlikely to cause significant harm if civilians are inside protected shelters.
Iran has launched over 350 ballistic missiles since the start of the war, with roughly half carrying cluster warheads.
The IAF’s interception rate for missiles targeting populated areas or key infrastructure stands at about 90%.
Most casualties occurred among individuals who were not inside protected spaces.
