It’s a tragedy when any Jewish soldier is killed, and – perhaps I’m wrong in feeling this way, but that’s the way I am – it hurts more when it’s a frum soldier. ה’ ינקום דמו!
But having said that, this video is a perfect advertisement for not sending frum boys to the army. I’m not going to specify exactly what there is on the video that is inappropriate, but I’m not the only one who noticed it straight away. It certainly is no zechus for Am Yisroel and the soldiers themselves.
And the earlier video of the levaya doesn’t have any separation between the genders. That’s not even a zechus for the niftar!
