Rand Paul: Really, the debate now should be, is a 47 year old conflict an imminent threat? Were there changes in their nuclear program that made this an imminent threat? And I don’t think the evidence is there that this was an imminent threat that would allow the president to go to war on his own.

what an idiot! iran has spent those 47 years chanting “death to america”. the question isn’t “why now?”, but “why not sooner?” now, they’ve produced enough enriched uranium for 10 bombs, and revealed their latest missile, with a 2,500 mile range. but until the bombs explode in times square, it isn’t “imminent” enough for him.
