💔 HY’D – MONTH BEFORE HIS CHASUNAH: An IDF officer was killed by an explosive drone fired by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon on Friday, the IDF announced on Motzei Shabbos.

He was identified as Captain Ma’oz Yisrael Recanati, H’YD, 24, from the yishuv of Itamar in the Shomron. He was a platoon commander in Battalion 12 of the Golani Brigade.

He is survived by his parents, six siblings, and his kallah. Their chasunah was only a month away.
