Channel 14’s Hillel Bitton Rosen reports that, under directives from National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Defense Minister Israel Katz, Central Command chief Maj. Gen. Avi Blot signed an order changing sentencing policy in Judea and Samaria.

Under the reported change, the death penalty would become the default sentencing option for terrorists convicted of murdering Jews. If a military judge chooses not to pursue the death penalty, specific justification would reportedly be required.
