CENTCOM says U.S. forces disabled a vessel in the Gulf of Oman after it ignored more than 20 warnings and continued toward an Iranian port in violation of the blockade. A U.S. aircraft struck the ship’s engine room with a Hellfire missile, leaving the vessel unable to continue. CENTCOM says five commercial vessels have now been disabled and 116 redirected as part of the blockade.
