Following a protest Thursday evening outside Military Prison 10 in Beit Lid attended by hundreds of bochurim from Yeshivas Be’er HaTalmud, organizers announced that Avreich Aviel Cohen will be released before Shabbos.

The demonstration was attended by HaRav Yehuda Cohen, a member of the Moetzes Chachmei HaTorah, along with Shas MKs Michael Malchieli and Yonatan Mishraki.
