FREE Brooklyn Community Event on Reading and Dyslexia


It’s Movie Night!

Please join us at a FREE Community Event on Reading and Dyslexia to take place at Brooklyn’s Kings Bay Y, Wednesday Evening, June 14, 2017 from 7:30-9:30 PM. This Community event will feature a short subject film called “How the Brain READS.” You will watch and be amazed to see that reading isn’t as easy as you think it is. Learn what causes the mechanical “glitch” called Dyslexia.

A question & answer discussion will follow featuring:

  • Amy Bailin, MS ED, PD, F/AOGPE, “Dyslexia and the Brain”
  • Leah David, MS, “On the Personal Side”

So please join us for this short subject film, great talk and a bag of popcorn. Plus each person who attends will get a chance to win a $25.00 Fandango Movie Gift Card. One entry per person and you must be present to win.

The Kings Bay Y is located at 3495 Nostrand Avenue (Between Ave U and Ave V), Brooklyn NY. There is limited FREE parking available in the Kings Bay Y parking lot.
