An Insight into the Upcoming 10K Event THIS SUNDAY!


“Ten thousand shidduchim for Klal Yisroel. This was R’ Shaya Levin’s plea at the levaya of his son and daughter-in-law to-be on that unforgettable chol hamoed day one year ago.

A line that inspired and remains etched in so many hearts.

One year later, hundreds have joined in the 10K Batay Yisroel project— working to make that request a reality.

Each suggestion logged on to the 10K Batay Yisroel website is special, unique and a testament of the achdus and chessed that has come about as a result of the devastating tragedy.

One year later, we will be once again gather to be inspired by the same individual who moved us last year. This time we don’t come to mourn; but we come to look at the future, to deepen our desire to build on the home we lost, and to build foundations for future batay yisroel.

10KBatayYisroel.org and the over seven-thousand suggestions logged in memory of Yisroel and Elisheva, a”h, encapsulate not only what we have accomplished as individuals but what we can accomplish as a Klal. With so many already inspired to get involved in whatever way they can, Boruch Hashem the engagement total is growing.

Join us as we come together on May 19th, Pesach Sheini, for an uplifting and unforgettable evening.

R’ Moshe Tuvia Lieff will be sharing with us his Torah Hashkofah as it relates to redting shidduchim. He will further discuss how a community is impacted when the individuals make a commitment to look out for each other.

R’ Ephraim Eliyahu Shapiro, world renowned speaker, will be flying in from North Miami Beach to deliver a timeless and motivating message on the power of even one shidduch suggestion, as only he could.

R’ Shaya Levin will be sharing his personal reflections of the past year and the impact of his request last Pesach. He will further elaborate on new resources and practical ideas for facilitating shidduchim. Finally, he will share his wishes for the project to leap and flourish and make an everlasting impact on our community.

R’ Joel Kaplan will be sharing his personal reflections as well as serving as the emcee of the event overall.
