  1. He was always so warm and always had a good vort such a pashet a yid. You could learn a lot from him even though he was just steaming hats. YOu should publish when the levaya will be. Was he niftar before the chupa? I know his son inlaw and daughter Dina used to live in Far Rockaway – if I could remeber his last name (now lives in Lakewood) I would call them to send my condolences.

When will the tzarus end? I’ve never ever heard of such a sad story.

  3. a little off topic…..can the kallah come to the levaya? can she sit shiva? can they have sheva brachos?

    these are MAJOR shailos!!

    TRAGIC

  4. Hashem Yerachem. PLEASE HAVE RACHMANUS ON US! HAVE WE NOT SUFFERED ENOUGH??? WHAT MORE CAN WE DO?? OF COURSE WE MUST TO TESHUVAH BUT LOOK AT HOW MUCH SUFFERING YOU ARE PUTTING YOURSELF THROUGH! YOU HAVE YOUR CHESHBONOS BUT AS OUR FATHER HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF? YOUR PAIN MUST BE TREMENDOUS!! Please…Please…Please…I am writing out of pain…

  5. erenster yungerman – Regarding your “MAJOR” shailos (I assume by MAJOR you mean that you need a posek with vast knowledge and big pleitzos to pasken what yo do.) B”h we have a Shulchan Aruch that discusses all of this (Ayin the sugyah Kesubos Daf Daled, as well).

The kallah does have Sheva Brachos, and sits Shiva after Sheva Brachos.

How tragic! Imagine celebrating Sheva Brachos alone, followed by sitting Shiva alone… Nebach!

  6. I want you all to know that i Knew Reb Yankel very well, we sat at one table when we davened every shabos together. There are no words how to describe him, He was Tumid in doing Mitzvos Plus he made sure that “BRESLOV” is in shape at all times . His singing along with the Baal Tefelih, even he did not know the song, but he would not let someone down, to become (MAVIISH) EMBARRASED IN SHUL or in the street. He was there for you 24 hours a day. There are no words on Reb Yankel ZT”L who he was,he was person that you could of learned A MUSAR HASKEL HOW A “YID” SHOULD BEHAVE IN BAIS HAMEDRISH. He made the Bais Hamadrish Labedik . By him being with us as a Mispalel every person in shul was happy, even though he never spoke in in shul during Davening to Hashem or during Krias Hatorah, always had a good word & if he felt if he did not give enough KOVOD to a person that was Davening by the “UMID”, while that Person was Davening, by not helping out more than his (KOCHIS)STRENGHT , He would apologize to that person. “AIBIK” A GIT VORD FOR A (MENSCH) PERSON This was Reb “YAKOV MENACHEM” BEN CHANANIA YOM TOV LIPA , I can say one thing “UVID CHUSSID MIN HAARETZ”, I CAN BE A WITNESS ON REB’ YANKEL, THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THE TIME TO TALK “DAVORIM BATILIM ” HE STAYED FROM LOSHON HORAH OR RECHILAS .WE WILL BE LOST WITHOUT HIM IN SHUL, & you can trust me on my words. “HASHAM” “HASHAM” HAVE RACHMONOS ON US, WE LOST OUR MAIN PERSON IN BEIS HAMEDRESH

  7. I think it’s time 2 make a massef yom teffelah !!!!!!! bec. there r so much young good yiden r”l ending there life so fast ….

  8. The phone numbers were erased before being hung in Eretz Yisroel.

The reason was that, there was no way to accurately know the telephone numbers where shiva would be held when typing the posters.

  9. RABOSI I JUST WANT TO TELL WHAT I SAW YESTERDAY BRIGINIG DOWN FROM THE CHOOFETS CHAIM THE WHAT IS THE SIGHN WEHEN MOSHIACH IS GOING TO COME IN WITCH GENERATION HE SAYS IF THERE WILL BE ALOT OF TZORIS AND KLLAL YOSROEL WILL STROGELE FINANCIAL THATS THE GANERATION WHEN MOSHIACH WILL COME

  10. I knew him. He was a tzaddik nistar & a big ba’al chessed. He was everything a frum yid should strive to be; a real mentsh with class. I will miss him dearly. When I lived in Boro Park, I davened in the Breslov shtieble with him. He had a great chazonishe voice, too. Hamokem yenachem eschem b’soch availai tzion v’yerushalayim.

  11. How come “Yeshiva World” doesn’t post the good things that go on in Klal Yisroel? How many children were born healthy? How many people had there 80’th 90’th etc.. birthday? How many weddings? etc.. How much Tzedakah is given? It is very difficult to logon everyday and just have the (what looks) negative going on.
It is like saying that everything is coming to us, and this is not right. Do we really deserve so much from Hashem – he gives us everything and how much do we repay him?
My humble opinion is that when we report – mostly (if not all) – negative news, it’s being kofu tov to Hashem.

  12. SO PAINFULLY SAD,
EVERY WEEK WE HEAR OF ANOTHER SAD STORY.
JUST YESTERDAY MY FIRST COUSIN PAST AWAY IN ISRAEL. HE WAS JUST 7 YEARS OLD.
We should all get together for a yom tefilla, & perhaps look on what we could do to better ourselves.

  13. what a tragedy! a real avad chosid min hahretz!

however- lets see the chasdie hashem that he didnt have to leave this world one hour earlier, or one day earlier…. imagine the kallah…mishpacha….

we ALL have to thank hashem for every minute- & chap arien as much torah & chessed as we can! till 120 be’ezer hashem

  14. joenj34: thank u 4 being maskem 2 me that we should make a yom teffilah ! but I don’t think it will happen by just wrighting it in the y”w !!!!!! I think evreyone that really cares about this should call agudas yisrael & try 2 b messader it (or speak 2 your rav 2 give a wake up call derosha on shabbes )

  15. Re: Yom Tefillah
Better then adding more tefilos, why not a movement to concentrate better on the ones we already have and recite three times a day. That would accomplish more, I think. Tehillim were added some years ago over various situations in eretz Yisroel, and now they are like part of the davening and are rushed through just as much. What’s the point? If people knew and understand what we davened, then maybe the davening would have greater impact.

  16. If people are looking for reasons for the tragedies that befall Klal Yisroel, mabe they should consider the public chilul shabbos in many areas of Brooklyn by people who think they are shomer shabbos.
