YWN regrets to inform you of the sudden passing of R’ Shlomo Obtsfeld Z”L, at the young age of 55.
R’ Shlomo was one of the backbones of the famous Chai Lifeline organization, and a major supporter of Bobov Chassidus – to whom he belonged. He spent his entire life giving Tzedakah, and doing Chesed, and had a special place in his heart for children who are suffering from Cancer R”L.
Tragically, he suffered a massive heart attack during the night.
The Levaya is scheduled for 5:00PM Thursday afternoon at the Bobover Bais Medrash on 48th Street.

Levaya at 5:00 in bobov 48th st
BDE what an absolute tragic loss for Klal Yisroel, Bobov and the family and friends. R’ Shlome always had a smile for everyone and always a good word. Chaval al d’ovdin v’lo mishtakchin.
And the Kibbud Em he had for his mother was outstanding-there was nothing to good for her. May the Aibershter be menachem her, along with the rest of the mishpacha.
