The question being asked by many Nadvorna Chassidim on Tuesday, is “Where did the rebbe go?” They are referring to the fact that the rebbe’s gabbai, Rav Michel Eliezer Friedman was instructed to accompany the rebbe on a flight that left Israel Tuesday at 14:30 to an undisclosed destination.
At 2:00PM, the two were driven to the airport and departed for a destination in Europe. Plans for kabolas khal on Tuesday and Wednesday nights were canceled.
Many are theorizing the rebbe plans to attend a kenos being held in London while others speculate the rebbe will team up with roshei yeshiva traveling to the tziyun of the Gra and other kevarim on Wednesday.
