Levaya of HaRav Moshe Feigelstock ZATZAL, Rosh Yeshiva And Founder Of Yeshiva Tiferes Elimelech In Boro Park

candle914YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of HaRav Moshe Feigelstock ZT”L, founder and Rosh HaYeshiva of Yeshiva Tiferes Elimelech in Boro Park.

The Rosh Yeshivah ZATZAL, brother to Harav Yitzchok of Long Beach Yeshivah SHlita, and grandson of the Chasam Sofer, has thousands of Talmidim around the world. He was in his nineties.

He reportedly felt ill yesterday, and was found unresponsive at his home this morning, TLS is reporting.

The Levaya will be held today, Wednesday, at 4:00PM in Yeshivas Tiferes Elimelech 1650-56 Street in Boro Park.

The Kevurah will take place in Woodbridge, NJ.

    The Feigelstocks are descendants of the Chasam Sofer. He could not have been a grandson. At most, a fifth generation einikel. Boruch Dayan Hoemes.

    WHEN THey cam e to the USA after the war one brother became lubavitch and lives in montreal. the other 2 became the litvish type.

    All siblings of the family are very chashuv.

    BTW he was not a grandson of the chasam sofer. He was a great great grandson. I guess descendant is the idea.

    The Chasam Sofer was his mothers fathers mothers father.
