Baruch Dayan Emmes: Mekubal HaRav Eliyahu Leon Levy ZT”L (Baba Leon) was niftar on Monday morning 3 Menachem Av in Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak at the age of 75. The levaya is set for 4:00PM, beginning at Yeshivas Tikunei Eliyahu in Bnei Brak.
Baba Leon was a well-known mekubal in Bnei Brak. He was hospitalized during recent weeks and his condition continued to deteriorate.
The rav and his talmidim during a period of 45 years would arrive at the Kosel on motzei Shabbos to recite Tehillim and then Tikun HaShmirah for Am Yisrael.
The rav authored a number of seforim;
“תיקוני אליהו”, “מעיני הישועה”, “תיקון היסוד”, “ישועת אליהו” ו”משבצות זהב לבושה”
