A grandfather told his grandson that he was experiencing difficulty breathing during Shabbos sheva brachos on Ginchovsky Street in Bnei Brak. EMS was summoned and during their initial treatment the grandfather suffered a massive heart attack from which he did not recover.

All resuscitation efforts failed and he was pronounced dead upon arrival at Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv.

The fatal incident occurred during Shabbos mincha in a minyan near the simcha hall. Hatzalah Gush Dan responded and worked on the victim, who was transported to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer.
