One person was flown by a Medevac after being involved in a head-on collision on Route 17B. The crash happened around 7:00PM on Sunday evening, on Route 17B and Kitz Road. Catskills Hatzolah was on the scene treating the victims, as well as Mobilemedics and the Monticello Fire Department. Two choppers were requested to the scene, but only one victim was airlifted to a trauma center. The second serious patient was transported by ground – due to an extended time arrival of the chopper.

My daughter was the back seat passanger in the car with her 2 friends thank you to all that assisted with this accident! Thank God they are still with us today!!
