Tragically, another person has died to to no cellphone coverage in Upstate NY. A trucker whose rig slid off the Adirondack Northway during Wednesday’s storm collapsed and died after walking through deep snow to check the truck. (more…)

Ben Gurion Airport: Lightening strikes airplane

lufthansa.jpgLightning struck a Lufthansa airplane during landing at Ben Gurion airport Thursday evening during a thunderstorm. B”H No one was injured, but the company has decided to ground the plane to check for damage.

Yeshiva Bochur dies from injuries in car accident

000.jpgThe Yeshiva Bochur who was critically injured last week in a major car accident was R”L Niftar from his injuries. The car that Yehushoua Falk A”H was driving in, was returning from Tzefas late Thursday night after delivering envelopes of Tzedakah to Aniyim. shtemer.jpgRav Gershon Shtemer ZATZAL was Niftar this morning in Yerushalayim at the age of 82. He was one of the heads of the Eida Hachareidis. This sad news comes on the heels of the news of the passing of Rav Yosef Sheinberger ZATZAL who was also one of the heads of the Eidah; just two weeks ago. The Levaya is taking place right now in Batei Zupnik. Boruch Dayan Emes… 

Australia: Rabbi Gutnick targeted in terrorist plot
