Fifty-eight-year-old lawyer and flight instructor Eilon Krugman-Kadi was killed on Friday in a plane crash during an airshow in Gainesville, Florida. Krugman-Kadi, an Israeli-American who has been living in Florida for the last 20 years, is survived by three children. The accident happened after the pilot failed to complete a loop in his L-39 aircraft and crashed into a nearby woodland west of the airfield. Click HERE to watch a video of the crash. He was most probably one of the oldest “Alter Mirrer” alive until his passing earlier today at the age of 94. His Levaya will take place on Motzei Shabbos at 8:30PM in front of Stolin Bais Medrash in Boro Park (16th Ave & 47th Street). An Israeli who lost his entire family to a Palestinian terrorist attack had a child with his second wife. A daughter was born this week to David Hatuel, 37, a former Gaza Strip settler, and his wife, Limor, Ynet reported Thursday. Three years ago Hatuel’s pregnant first wife, Tali, and their four daughters were killed in a roadside ambush by Palestinian gunmen. (JTA)

Beit Shemesh: Sifrei Torah thieves caught red handed

Four Arabs were caught stealing five Sifrei Torah from a Beit Shemesh Shul. The four suspects were caught red-handed by police Wednesday night as they waited in the street with the Sifrei Torah while waiting for their getaway car. The Sifrei Torah, valued at NIS 1 million, were not damaged in the heist, and have since been returned to the Shul.

A gunman rampaged through a strip of restaurants in a trendy Manhattan neighborhood Wednesday night, killing two unarmed Auxiliary police officers and a pizzeria employee.
