TRAGEDY STRIKES FLATBUSH: HaBachur Yossi Loriner Z”L, 25, Killed In Pennsylvania Accident

A devastating tragedy struck the Flatbush community Tuesday night with the petirah of Yossi Loriner Z”L, 25, following a horrific car crash in Pennsylvania.

Yossi, the son of R’ Yitzchok Loriner yb”l of Flatbush, was studying in law school in Pennsylvania and was driving home to visit his parents when the fatal accident occurred. His grandmother is a longtime secretary at The Cheder in Flatbush.

According to authorities, the crash took place just before 8:15 p.m. on the northbound lanes of I-476 in Luzerne County. Yossi was tragically Niftar at the scene.

The Pennsylvania State Police are leading the investigation into the cause of the collision, which involved a truck.

The levaya is scheduled to take place at 6 PM Wednesday evening at the Sons of Israel Holocaust Memorial Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue in Lakewood, with kevurah in the adjacent bais olam.

  1. I remember Yossi from Shor Yoshuv, where he spent countless hours helping everyone in college with LSAT prep, grad school applications, Touro writing assignments, etc. A truly selfless individual.
