Measles Diagnosed In Women In Jerusalem

Israel’s Ministry of Health in recent weeks received reports of five cases of measles in women between the ages of 20 and 40, all in the capital. There are no other reports of measles elsewhere.

The Health Ministry called on persons who haven’t yet vaccinated, to do so, adding one will require it prior to flying abroad. According to the Ministry, there have been 6,000 documented measles cases in European nations since the beginning of 2017. The Ministry notification has resulted in a sharp increase in the number of Israelis seeking to be vaccinated in recent days.

Some hospitals, including Ichilov in Tel Aviv, is using its Facebook page to inform the public it has run out of vaccines for the time being.

  1. why didn’t you report the story of 15 children who DIED last week as a result of a botched administration of the measles vaccine? (supposedly there to save them from this “life threatening” illness…)
