WATCH THIS: 11-Year-Old Child Farhered By Hagaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky On Entire Mishnayos

(VIDEO IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)

An 11-year-old child from the “Mivakshei Torah” school in Bnei Brak, visited the Gadol Hador, Hagaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita on Wednesday afternoon.

The Rebbe of the child told Reb Chaim that the child can be tested on anything in the entire Shisha Sidrei Mishna – (Shas Mishnayos).

Reb Chaim first asked him “how many times it says the word Chanukah in Mishnayos?”

Without blinking an eye, the child answered “7 times, and once in the Bartenura”.

He begins listing off every Mishnah where it says it.

Reb Chaim then asks him “where it says Purim in Mishnayos?”

Once again, the child rattles off the answers, as Reb Chaim smiles and pats the child on the cheek.

Reb Chaim asks him a final question from Seder Zeroyim after he was told that the boy studied Zeroyim many times. “Where is the word Kelayim written – except from Mechechta Kelayim”?

And once again, the child answers Reb Chaim perfectly, as the Gadol Hador smiles and gives the child a Bracha.

This is a video worth watching!

  3. in our bais medrash, a 13 year old currently working on shas bavli upon overhearing this boy’s farhehr, without hesitation said “celayim” is also mentioned in a mishna in meseches baytza. BH torah is everywhere!

  4. I think everyone should take note of the questions r Chaim chose to ask. He didn’t ask for pshat in this Mishnah or what the Mishnah means over there. He just asked where it says this and that. Because that’s how you know you truly know the Mishnah
