Cops In Kiryat Malachi Save Toddler From Locked Vehicle

An alert passerby in Kiryat Malachi on erev Shabbos phoned police after seeing a 3-year-old who was apparently forgotten in a school vehicle. After they were unable to find the driver, police broke the window and got the toddler out.

Baruch Hashem, due to the cool weather, it appears the toddler was not in distress as is usually the case during the summer months.

It appears by smashing the window; police activated the advanced alarm system which sent a message to the driver who arrived on the scene a short time later. He was compelled to accompany police to the station for questioning. The director of the daycare center was also summoned by police for questioning.
