Tragedy Strikes Ashdod: 3-Year-Old Aharon Levi Z”L


At the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, three-year-old Aharon Levi z”l died of heart failure after suffering from cardiac issues since birth. Last week, he was hospitalized and today, Thursday, 9 Elul, he returned his young neshama to its Creator.

The niftar was a son of Rabbi Yosef Levi, a Chassid of Seret Vishnitz and a resident of Ashdod, as well as a son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Meirovitch of the Belz community.

At his bris, Aharon was named after his grandfather, the late Rabbi Aaron Levi, who passed away from the severe illness in 5714. Last week they added the name ‘Raphael’ to him, but the decree was decreed and he returned his soul to its Creator.

The father of the child, Rabbi Yossi Levi, is a well-known figure in the local chareidi community in Ashdod and serves as a photographer of rabbonim and admorim shlita.

The funeral took place on Thursday afternoon at the Ashdod cemetery.
