A fire broke out in Yeshiva Chaim Berlin on Wednesday night, and one person was injured.

Sources tell YWN that some electrical work was being done in the main Yeshiva building located at 1605 Coney Island Avenue, when an electrical panel exploded. The FDNY was on the scene in minutes, and quickly extinguished the fire. The person who was working on the panel was injured, and was transported by Flatbush Hatzolah to Cornell Hospital in Manhattan. He is reportedly in serious but stable condition.

Tha dormitory will mot be restored for over two weeks due to the serious damage. B’H the person that was hurt is back from the hospital and is okay. Insurance adjusters are still assessing the damage, and reconstruction cannot start until they finish. Big yasher koach to Misaskim for the generator.
