On August 3, 2014 State Police investigated the breakage of a large plate glass window at 79 Main St in the Village of Bloomingburg. After an investigation, Michael Essig, age 38 of Wurtsboro, NY was arrested in connection with the damage.
Essig was charged with Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, a felony and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation. He was arraigned in the Village of Bloomingburg Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail with no bail set.
