Members of Agudas Yisrael met in the Peres Street office on Monday 21 Teves. The meeting also included members of the Degel faction of Yahadut Hatorah. Taking part were Yaakov Litzman, Moshe Gafne, Meir Porush, Uri Maklev, Menachem Eliezer Moses, Yisrael Eichler and Yaakov Asher.
In addition to discussing election strategies, Yaakov Litzman and his colleagues congratulated the announced return of Aryeh Deri as Shas leader. They stated that it is important for Shas to fare well in the elections as well as their party towards strong chareidi representation in the 20th Knesset.
