Major Operation Leads to the Arrest of 29 Hamas Terrorists

In a joint operation involving the IDF, ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) and Israel Police, 29 Hamas terrorists were arrested in Shechem during the night.

The security forces involved in the operation during the night (Tuesday – Wednesday 26 Nissan) cracked down on Hamas, which continues to increase its presence in Shechem. An official speaking to Walla News anonymously explained the terrorists in custody were planning terror attack as part of their plan to take over the PA (Palestinian Authority).

The terrorists in custody are funded by Hamas abroad. They are not in ISA custody. Hundreds of soldiers including Nachal Chareidi entered Shechem from a number of direction, including the Balata Refugee Camp.
