It appears that an Arab driver tried to run over soldiers in the Hebron district on motzei Shabbos 14 Elul at HaAri (Kevasim) Junction south of Hebron. One soldier was lightly injured in a foot. The soldiers fired at the vehicle which managed to flee the scene.

The soldiers report they did strike a rear light of the vehicle as it drove off.

IDF investigators on Sunday morning 15 Elul told the press that the preliminary investigation signals the incident was not an attempted attack as believed.
