The IDF retaliated with artillery shells to rocket fire into the Golan Heights during the first day of Sukkos. It was the second rocket incident in a number of days. The rocket fire is viewed as spillover from the ongoing Syrian civil war but Defense Minister Moshe Ya�alon explains even the spillover will not be tolerated. He holds Syrian leader Bashar el-Assad responsible for maintaining quiet along Israel�s northern border.

Ya�alon on motzei the first day of Sukkos told the media the rockets in the Golan Heights represent a red line that Israel will not tolerate and the Syrian Army must take the necessary steps to prevent future occurrences.
