There was shock and horror among resident of the Zichron Meir neighborhood of Bnei Brak on Wednesday morning 29 Cheshvan after seeing someone spray painted the city memorial for HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Halevy Wosner ZT”L. This is not the first occurrence, but the third.
The memorial is a tribute to the Torah giant as well as an explanation to visitors to the Torah City as similar memorials are in place for other late gedolei torah zt”l.
Among the angered voices are calls directed at City Hall to install surveillance cameras to prevent another occurrences.
