The Skverer Rebbe’s Shlita trip to Eretz Yisrael will last for three weeks, during which time the rebbe will give a chizuk to thousands of chassidim and those who seek his bracha. The rebbe will be visiting mekomos kedoshim during his say and many chassidim from around the world requested to join the rebbe for this memorable opportunity.

Approval was given for 1,800 chassidim to join the rebbe, wishing to be mispallel with him at the Kosel and other holy sites in Yerushalayim and the Galil.

The rebbe gave strict instructions regarding those wishing to join him. First and foremost, no one is permitted to compromise his limud torah, not even for a single day during the visit. According to those arranging the rebbe’s itinerary, much of the time during the three weeks will be spent davening and being mispallel at kivrei tzaddikim, however the rebbe stresses the need to continue learning for tefilos without limud he views as ‘פלג גופא’ .

There will also be a יומא דאורייתא in the new Skvere Beis Medrash in Yerushalayim.

The rebbe arrived in Yerushalayim on Monday morning 23 Teves.

As YWN reported last week, this is the first time in 21 years that the Rebbe travelled to Eretz Yisroel along with such a large group of Chassidim. The rebbe has been there in the past few years, but not on such a large trip.
