VIDEO: Did This NYPD Officer Write False Violations? You Watch – You Decide

nThe video attached below has gone viral on social media on Monday morning.

The following text was attached with the video:

A cop pulled me (over) and said I was stopped for “following a grey Honda too closely in the right lane, flashed my headlights at him, and then I made a sudden lane change to the left lane and then sped off”….

The cop held me for 15 minutes and then gave me three violations:

1) unsafe lane change

2) speeding

3) following too closely

See the video below from my dash cam how I was in the same lane the entire time without flashing anyone or tailgating anyone.

The officers ID is 938857 from the 72 Precinct

Please forward this to everyone and let’s stop the corruption and get this cop off the street.

  1. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I hope the COP gets nailed this happens way too often!! You are lucky you had a dash cam. I am sure you will go to Internal affairs. Please let us know what the outcome is.
    Good Luck!

  2. get him off the streets indeed!!!!

    Stop the quotas!!!!

Stop counting $400 million into your budget coming from violations, basically forcing x amount of violations to cover the budget!!!

    System built on corruption!!!

  3. Ever hear of a mistake???
take this to court and beat your ticket, call hi c.o. if you feel it was intentional but why act like the reverend Al and start promulgating anti-police feelings?

  4. How do we know this video was taken just before he was ticketed? Perhaps the moving violation occurred prior to the little video snippet.

  5. #6: You are right on your second point.
I don;t see any speed limit signs, but you were definitely going 42 mph. So you technically deserved the speeding ticket, but the other 2 are bogus. However, instead of haranguing the cop about, have your day in court

  6. The Ober Chacham will answer to the chachom ur Ha’ara is well taken but the answer is look at the last car the cop sits on the side marked but no bar lights 2 cars after the white van about 12 sec before the traffic light. And to ‘positiveattitude11’ it shows 43 MPH however the driver doesnt dispute that charge read his testimony he disputes the other 2

  7. he followed a honda accord light grey on the left lane not on the right lane and the honda changed to to right lane i dont know why (could be he flashed to hem) after that he speeded up to 44mph

  8. Do.you think that that police have nothing better to do, than to make-up false allegations. He was definitely speeding and he should have apologized and perhaps the cop would have let him off.
We don’t own New York or any other city where there are many Jews.
Jews must not only keep the rules but be a role model for others. All this double parking and other games must stop. First let’s make sure that we’re all keeping the rules, then once were certain about this, we can share our complaints. I’m not even getting into many other rules and laws in business/taxes/landlords. It’s a big mess. We must be an “Ohr Lagoyim” in this long galus and not the opposite.

  9. By a Jew: A MISTAKE?!?! A ticket is basically sworn testimony that you witnessed the crime. These semi-cover cars are there for one purpose, and one purpose only – to issue moving violation summons.

Chachom: anyone who’s been down that road before (pun intended) will recognize the location, which is of course written on the ticket. Besides, when the clip begins, he’s coming off the prospect expressway, where 44mph is actually BELOW the limit, וד”ק.

Ddkk: So u trust the dashcam speedometer (which is unreliable), but not what ur eyes actually see in the video, hmmm…
