DISTURBING INCIDENT: Man Seen Taking Photos Of Jewish Girls School In Brooklyn [VIDEO]

byd[VIDEO IN EXTENDED ARTICLE]

The NYPD is investigating after a suspicious individual was seen taking pictures of a Jewish girls school in Brooklyn.

Sources tell YWN that at approximately 9:40AM on Wednesday morning, a male was seen exiting a car and walking up to the Bais Yaakov D’Rav Meir School building located on Parkville Avenue in the Kensington section of Brooklyn.

As can be seen in the attached security camera footage, the individual took multiple photos of the building from various angles. He is then seen getting back start into his vehicle, and driving away.

Thankfully, the school has an alert security guard who noticed the individual as he was taking the photos, and immediately “panned the camera” – following every movement of the individual as it took place.

The NYPD 70 Precinct is investigating the incident.

Please remember to always be alert – and if you see something call 911 immediately.

  1. abigezugt – “catch” him for what? As disturbing as it may sound , all they can do is track him via his license and add him to the “suspicious” list.

In any case, I think this just convinced me to vote for Trump..

  2. The man was intent on getting pictures of the building and getting out of there quickly. I would take this very seriously and not hold classes there until this is fully checked out. The license plate is visible but not legible in the posted video. I hope they track him down quickly.

  3. coupled with the incident last month at Yeshiva Imeri Yosef Spinka school on 15th Avenue and 58th Street, where a Muslim woman was seen taking pictures and acting suspiciously, I am starting to take these incidents a little more seriously.

  4. The van can also be followed on camera.
The guy definitely looks arab or hispanic acted suspicious
All due to the story of levi kletzky cameras in the jewish neighborhoods became obiquitous.
The muslim community besides having reps in police department probably have someone representing them in departments and bureaus dealing specifically with anti-terrorism and jihad.
Isnt it time all the frum communities put their best professionals forward to be available representing in these Bureaus reporting to the community on affairs dealing with counterterrorism.
On another note the torah is good and true someone should put on tefillin with levi aron. The same chiyuv of tefillin for him is the same for me. Vechol hachaim yoducha sela. This is also for most mitzvahs

  5. 10 years ago, a Saudi graduate student and his female accomplice were observed filming another Jewish girls’ school. Someone saw them, followed them, and reported them to the authorities, which raided their computer and found they’d sent the film abroad. The school ramped up its security in a very big way.

A stark reminder that we are in golus…

  6. Maybe Some People Should Locate Moslem Schools / Mosques and take pictures of them Openly. Imagine dozens of Jewish men, women and teens seen taking photos of Mosques in Brooklyn and Queens in one or two days – including in chasidic garb – with the media saying Dozens of Jews seen taking shots of Mosques across city. Moslems in fear. If police come tell them Ich Veis Nisht English or they thought it was a yeshiva

  7. @flatbusher – Israel is in galus also. Last I checked there is no Beis HaMikdash, no Malchus Beis Dovid, no Sanhedrin, . . .

  8. Yes, E”Y is also in Golus. But to have the opportunity to live in the Hashem’s palace and breath Kedushas E”Y with every breath, rejecting that opportunity and remaining in Chutz La’aretz on mass says what about us?

  9. For all you people who are asking about E”Y, of course, they are in golus there as well. In fact, it’s more apparent there with the Arabs. Here, under a malchus shel chesed, it’s easy to forget…

  10. I hope all yidden stay safe.

On honor of this, think about the connection between the mitzvah of mezuzah and Divine protection.

Connections can be found through the Torah. Deeper explanations are in the article below.

  11. To No. 7

“The guy definitely looks arab or Hispanic [and] acted suspicious”

That is a really helpful observation….we now know the suspect could be anyone of several hundred thousand Arab and Hispanic residents of Brooklyn. As the real “Gaon” (aka no. 2) observed, he was not doing anything illegal.
