PA Un Envoy Promises To Make Trump’s Life Miserable If US Embassy Is Moved To Jerusalem

??????????The daily Haaretz last week quoted PA (Palestinian Authority) Ambassador to the United Nations Riyad Mansour saying in Washington that if President-elect Trump moves the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem as promised, the PA will retaliate in the United Nations and “make the US’ life miserable”.

Haaretz quotes the ambassador saying “If people attack us by moving the embassy to Jerusalem, which is a violation of Security Council resolutions, it is a violation of resolution 181 of the UN general assembly that was drafted by the U.S. … it means they are showing belligerency towards us … If they do that nobody should blame us for unleashing all of the weapons that we have in the UN to defend ourselves and we have a lot of weapons in the UN.”

Mansour added the reason the Security Council has not issued a resolution against moving the embassy is because the United States would veto such a resolution.

Mansour said he could “reopen the whole Pandora’s Box” of verdicts in the International Criminal Court of Justice on the matter of the separation barrier or the settlements.

“It is illegal to defy Security Council resolutions that the U.S. is party to it that the unilateral action by Israel annexing East Jerusalem is illegal and it is null and void. If the U.S. administration wants to defy international law they are doing something illegal. I hope they will do nothing. Many candidates gave the same election promise but didn’t implement it because what you do when you are campaigning is one thing but when you have to deal with the legal thing it is something else,” Mansour said.

  1. I’d be shocked if Trump moves the embassy to Jerusalem.
    But you know what?
If he stays pro-Israel, reads the PLO, Hamas and the other terrorists the riot act, pulls $$$ away from Ra-Mallah, kick some radical Muslim rear end and generally supports Israel, then this won’t be important.

Haaretz: You goin’ down faster than you can say N.Y. Slimes, you self-loathing Jews!

  2. This is exactly why we voted for Trump — he doesn’t care about empty (or even real) threats. He does what he thinks is correct.

  3. Moving the Embassy just to poke the Palestinians in the eye may be good politics but it will not move the peace process forward. Trump has to follow through on his campaign pledge but also needs to find some basis to push Netanyahu back to negotiations.

  4. To the lib gadol… go get your self a job and stay out of the peace making business stop talking about what the Jews have to do until there is a real clear change from stopping incitement or rewarding the terrorists and naming streets after them , Israel should stop wasting their time pursuing this phone peace

  5. Gadolhador expressed concern about the “peace process”. There was a “peace process?”. I must have missed it in the news. I know about Israel giving away Gaza. Did they get peace in return. I don’t think so. Maybe there has been a decrease in terrorist acts. No, that didn’t happen. Please enlighten me on this “peace process”, I’m very curious about it.
