The family of Sgt. Oron Shaul HY�D turned to the High Court of Justice on Sunday 13 Cheshvan, seeking the court�s intervention to compel the cabinet to move ahead and implement its own decision. The petition is filed on behalf of Lt. Hadar Goldin HY�D as well, as the remains of both soldiers are being held by Hamas.

The petition cites that there has been a decision by the Security Cabinet to constantly address the matter of missing and captive soldiers and attorneys Yishai Sarid and Neria HaRoeh point out that the cabinet decision to establish a task force and convene it �without delay� and this is yet to occur.

The petition explains the families cannot accept such a reality, that the cabinet sits by and fails to implement its own decision as their expense, citing the Security Cabinet last June reached the decision to establish a ministerial task force to address the matter.
