Police are looking for a suspect who spray painted a swastika outside a 78-year-old Jewish man’s home in Crown Heights.

They say the suspect was caught on surveillance video leaving the swastika on the sidewalk in the mainly Jewish neighborhood.

Police say they are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime.

The NYPD say the incident occurred on Shabbos, November 12, 2016, at approximately 6:00PM< in the vicinity of Montgomery Street and Brooklyn Avenue. The individual spray painted a swastika in front of the 78 year-old male victim’s home. The individual fled westbound on Montgomery Street.

The individual is described as a male with a gray sweater and a backpack.
