Hundreds Of Police Training For The Amona Expulsion


1Hundreds police troops are taking part in training exercises to prepare for the expulsion of Amona. This is taking place in the Tzeilim base generally used by the IDF. Israel Police Chief Roni Alsheich this week visited to observe the training.

In line with the High Court of Justice ruling, the community must be removed by December 25, 2016. The community consists of 40 families, situated in the Binyamin Regional Council of the Shomron, adjacent to Ofra.

The training is taking place in one of the IDF’s simulated villages with the participation of a number of high-ranking police officials.

This training base is enormous and includes no less than 600 buildings in different settings, permitting soldiers to practice urban warfare and other skills; in this case R”L, the expulsion of Jews from a yishuv that has been their home. The training facility has it all, tunnels, alleyways, refugee camps and more, hoping to prepare soldiers for any and every eventuality, this time being used to train police to oust Jews from their homes.
