Four persons were murdered and about 15 wounded in the Armon HaNatziv ramming attack that occurred on Sunday, 10 Teves 5777.

As is the custom, the family, Jerusalem residents of the Jabil Mukhaber neighborhood near Armon HaNatziv where the attack occurred, set up a mourning tent for the slain terrorist. security forces were sent in to disassemble the tent.

It is also being announced that the government decided it will not be handing over the body of the terrorist for burial but he will be buried in the state’s cemetery for terrorists. In addition, security forces are maintaining a perimeter around Jabil Mukhaber and all entering and leaving are being checked.

Two videos show the tent being dismantled while the third shows the size of the commando force needed to enter into a neighborhood of the capital. The photos show the area after the tent was dismantled.

It is interesting to note just how many commandos are needed to enter the community, an Arab neighborhood of the capital – not just commandos but wearing body armor.

  1. This seems like a waste of time to me, not to mention all the lives being placed at risk. Obviously, I believe that the terrorist was scum, and so is everyone mourning his death. But at the end of the day, they are not causing any harm through public mourning, and it might even be construed as free speech (which I believe is a right in Israel as well).

And if you will claim that the mourning tent might serve to attract more terrorists, then the same thing can be said about half the activities occuring in the Arab villages.

  2. #1 You pea size brain liberal.

If terrorists would be buried in lard things wouldve stopped long ago,of course #1 wont like that …freedom of religion, also a dead terrorist cant harm anymore so why …….

  3. #2

You really think that burying them in lard would stop the killing? Their imans or elders or whoever makes these rules would issue a “psak” that even if buried with pigskin, they’ll still get into “heaven” with all their promised benefits. Just like they issued a ruling several years ago that allowed their women to dress as necessary in order to blend in even if it means not covering up as much or uncovering hair.

  4. #2: If you were trying to make an analogy, my liberal pea sized brain didn’t comprehend it.

By sending dozens if not hundreds of commandos to tear down the mourning tent, all of their lives are being placed at risk, and it will have no effect on detering future attacks.

Not that I justify your idea of burying the body of terrorists in lard, but at least that wouldn’t directly endanger the life of anyone else, and might have the effect of deterring future attacks.

Maybe in America we should bury all Jewish financial scammers in lard in order to combat the prevalence of such thievery in our community. What do you think, brave armchair warrior?

  5. #1 do you really think that people who support and encourage terror should be allowed to do so?

People who support and encourage terror should be given a stiff fine and/or a jail sentence and that goes for Machmood Ab ass.
