Police during the night of 19 Teves operated in the Shuafat refugee camp in the Jerusalem district. In fact, hundreds of police, border police and Yassam police took part in ‘Operation 700’ in the refugee camp, resulting in the arrests of nine suspects and carrying out 14 searches.

Those taken into custody are suspected to have played a role in disturbances, rock-throwing and other attacks, as well as unspecified crimes. Searches revealed an air gun, pocket knife, a civilian flak jacket, blue vehicular light similar to those used by police and more.
