Euphoria in Yehuda and Shomron with the Passing of Regulation Law in Knesset Legalizing 4,000 Homes

yoshThe Regulation passed into law in the Knesset on Monday 10 Shevat in a 60 to 52 vote without abstentions. Labeled by many as “historic”, the law legalizes as many as 4,000 homes throughout Yehuda and Shomron including outposts that were viewed as illegal. In cases that homes are on Palestinian land, the owner will be compensated.

Needless to say, Bayit Yehudi MKs are euphoric as they refused to back down and delay the vote at the behest of Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is concerned with too many changes to the status quo since the election of US President Donald Trump. Mr. Netanyahu’s concerns are on several fronts, both in the international community and Israel High Court of Justice.

MK (Bayit Yehudi) Moti Yogev responded, “Even if the minority elite dictatorship of the Supreme Court” wishes to cancel it, the people have spoken, “calling to empower settlers throughout Israel, Yehuda, Shomron, the Galil and the Negev”.

Minister of Tourism (Likud) Yariv Levine stated the passing of the law corrected a longtime injustice against settlers.

Needless to say, opposition parties were not pleased and they are confident it will be overturned by the nation’s High Court.

  1. The Regulation Law passed in the Knesset and US President Trump has no issue with Jews building in their current settlements as much as they want. HOWEVER the ones running the State of Israel, the ones with the most power, i.e. the self-appointed radical leftist judges-for-life will not allow it to pass. Mark my words!

If they want Israel to become a democratic state, they need to replace the justice system democratically and only then will the people of Israel start to breath.
