Swastika Found In Williamsburg Building

(Tuesday, November 9th, 2010)

The NYPD was investigating a swastika which was found on the wall in an apartment building on Tuesday night.

Williamsburg Shomrim (WSPU) received a call to their hotline by someone who noticed the swastika drawn on the wall in an apartment building located on Harrison Avenue & Heyward Street, and sent units to investigate. Upon the arrival of WSPU, they requested officers from the nearby 90th Precinct to respond – who in turn requested the NYPD Hate Crimes Unit for an investigation.

Detectives are looking for any cameras in the vicinity which may have captured the neo-Nazi who is responsible for the latest hate-crime to hit the Chasidic community in Williamsburg.
