On Shabbos morning, HaRav HaMekubal Masod Mallul zt�l was niftar. He was best known as being the Baba Sali�s �right hand�. He had a stroke about a week ago and was niftar on Shabbos morning at the age of 90.

Kikar Shabbat quotes a nephew of the niftar as saying that until the recent stroke; the rav had clarity of mind and functioned independently.

He was like a son to Baba Sali, who arranged his bar mitzvah and married him. Family members of the niftar explain that the rav was simply the Baba Sali�s closest confidant.

�Grandfather was the rav of the extended Abuchatzera family, Baba Elazar ZT�L and HaAdmor Rabbi David Shlita�, a family members is quoted as saying by Kikar Shabbat.

The levaya was held on motzei Shabbos at 10:00pm beginning at the Kehilat Yaakov Beis Medrash in Tiveria and kvura was in the city�s ancient cemetery.
