Minister Yisrael Katz: Gaza Is Becoming A Ticking Time Bomb

Minister of Intelligence & Transportation, Yisrael Katz, warns that Gaza is becoming a “ticking time bomb”.

Katz believes that in order to realize its strategic plan to establish an artificial island off the coast of Gaza, Israel must recruit Egypt and Jordan for this purpose.

Katz referred to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and warned that “Israel must make a long-term decision on what direction we are going to take, and we can combine Egypt and the Gulf states to establish the island. Accompanied by the return of the bodies of the dead and the civilians who are being held there.”

He added that “we are on the brink of a situation in which Israel will have to inject medicine and food into Gaza at the expense of the state.”

In his words, “I believe that an absolute majority of my friends understand that an island should be created on the bridge to Gaza, and that senior IDF officials clearly support this and the defense minister is against it. ”

Minister Katz accused the Defense Ministry of directing Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman to raise funds and transfer them to Gaza, instead of taking strategic steps. His accusations have been vehemently denied by Minister Lieberman.
