Residents Fuming as Herziliya City Hall Uses Tax Money to Pay for Easter Event


City Hall in Herziliya has announced that it will hold a family celebration commemorating the Christian spring holiday of Easter. Residents are responding by chastizing the local government and making their voices known that they don’t want their tx money going to celebrate a Christian holiday.

The event, which is supposed to being on Friday, March 23rd, will inlcude activities for children from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. One of these activities is going on a Easter Egg hunt.

Concerned residents are attempting to get this event boycotted by all Herziliya inhabitants.

One upset resident said: “They don’t have money to put up half of the projects that they said they would but never did. And now suddenly they have enough money to hold an Easter egg hunt. It is preposterous.”
