Bennet: I Do Not Think War With Iran Is Unavoidable

Chairman of the Bayit Yehudi party, Minister Naftali Bennet, does not believe war with Iran is unavoidable. Bennet made his comments on Tuesday, 16 Iyar, after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu revealed the massive intelligence information gathered by Israel on Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

“This proves beyond any doubt that the whole basis of the agreement is deceit and lies,” Bennet said in an interview with Channel Two News, adding that “now we have documents proving beyond any doubt that the Iranian goal was to reach a nuclear bomb. Even the United States agrees that there is considerable new information in the same presentation that was acquired by Israel.”

Bennet concluded, “A war with Iran on Syrian soil is not unavoidable. If we continue with the strategy of targeting all those who try to harm the State of Israel, including in Gaza, Yehuda, Shomron and Syria, these are all Iran. If we buy a few months of quiet, but at the end, we will meet Iran within our borders.”
